Watercolor

Belmont Craft Club

Originating in China 2,000 years ago, Mahjong is a game consisting of skill, strategy, calculation, and a certain degree of luck. All levels can enjoy the American version of this classic game. Supplies are provided.
Bowling Leagues
For ages 55+. Join other senior adults in Henrico for bowling, fun, and fellowship.
Golf Clubs
Senior golfers are looking for men and women to join their weekly games. Play different area courses on Tuesday mornings at 10 a.m. Information: Hilton Withers, 740-3209.
Tennis Clubs
For ages 55+. If you enjoy challenging tennis with a large dose of fun, contact the Net Set or the Racketeers. Men and women can join in round-robin style social tennis at an intermediate level of play. Both groups play at Belmont Recreation Center from April through November.
Cheswick Walking Club
It’s fun and easy! Walk your way to improved health and fitness. This club combines fitness and fun for the walker who likes to socialize. Visitors are welcome. This group meets on Tuesdays from 10 a.m.-noon throughout the year at Cheswick Park. On the first Tuesday of each month, a club meeting is held at Deep Run Recreation Center. S.A.L.T./Triad Council
(Seniors and Law Enforcement Together)
S.A.L.T./Triad Council is a cooperative effort and working partnership between the County of Henrico Division of Police, County of Henrico Sheriff’s Office, and senior citizens throughout Henrico. Its purpose is to develop, expand, and implement effective crime prevention and education programs for the benefit of our senior citizens and to improve the overall quality of life by making our communities a safer place to live.
S.A.L.T./Triad is a cooperative program sponsored nationally by the American Association of Retired Persons, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, and the National Sheriff’s Association. Monthly Council meetings are held at the Henrico Training Center on the first Tuesday of each month at 9 a.m. For more information, call Community Policing at 501-5236 or Judy Schwerdtfeger (president) at 737-3049.

Unless listed otherwise, programs are taught by Recreation Staff. All fitness, dance, and sports programs are taught by instructors who are nationally certified in their area(s) of expertise.
